REGISTRATION FOR YOUTH

Inviting 5th grade students and those beyond 5th grade who have yet to receive communion instruction and desire to receive the Sacrament, come and participate in this class, Saturday, September 7 at 10am in the sanctuary. Parents attend with their students.

This five week long introductory class gives you an opportunity to explore life and its meaning from a historic Lutheran Christian perspective. It's a safe space to ask questions about the chief teachings of the Christian faith as they are believed, confessed and taught in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. It's a relaxed, non-threatening, friendly course designed for individuals new to the Lutheran church, and is a great refresher course for those with a Lutheran background. We encourage anyone considering joining our faith family to come to this class.

The study of the book of Romans has often proven to be a life-changing exercise. Throughout the history of the church, lives have been radically transformed through the impact of Paul's clearest presentation of Christian doctrine in all of Scripture. Join us for one of the most important and influential books of the entire Bible, covered in nine weeks.

We cannot live without meaning, satisfaction, freedom, identity, justice, purpose or hope. In this course we explore answers to the biggest questions humans have in life and examine how Christianity provides ultimately true and satisfying resources to meet our deepest needs. We look at the biggest issues we face in life from a grace-filled, Bible-based perspective.

The death of someone we love is so hard to experience. If you've had such a loss, Our Father wants to help. We offer a 13 week course called GriefShare, and it's so helpful to assist in the processing of feelings and dealing with the massive changes that come with such a loss. SUN AUG 11 AT 1:10PM

Please join us for this year’s Colorado Rockies Faith Day game and concert on Sunday, August 11, at 1:10pm. The Rockies will play the Atlanta Braves, and the postgame concert will feature Zach Williams.  His songs include, "There was Jesus", "Survivor", and many more. TOP 16 BIBLE VERSES CLASS / BEGINS SUN AUG 4 AT 9:30AM

Our summer sermon series of the top 10 Bible verses is well underway and will continue through August 18. But studying top Bible verses won't end there!

Sunday, August 4, Adult Education hour resumes at 9:30am, with a class that will continue to look at more of the Bible's most well-known, most often-used, shared and looked up verses. This is a great opportunity to gain new insights as we study God's Word together! Which verses have made this additional list?

Join us after Easter for a new sermon series beginning April 20 & 21 as we connect our work and service with the work of Jesus through us in all we do. Together, we’ll learn to be “be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Our Father is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 24 in the Fellowship Hall. This is a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to participate! In addition to egg hunts, we will have food trucks, games, and activities for kids. Egg cartons will be provided for kids.

APRIL 19-20 TABLE MOUNTAIN INN IN GOLDEN

Our women’s retreat theme is “The Tree of Life” at Table Mountain Inn in Golden, April 19-20, 5pm Friday - 4pm Saturday. Our speaker is Sarah Salzberg. Registration will open Friday, February 9 and closes on Thursday, March 14. Registration opens Friday, February 9!

On Wednesdays in Lent, our life in Christ will be strengthened as we hear the witness of those who were present as part of Jesus’ journey to the cross. Along the way, we’ll meet villains, sinners, a disloyal one, a betraying one, a woman possessed by demons; and others.

The wilderness is a place of barrenness and desolation. It is a place we most likely want to avoid. But what if that’s the very place where God wants you? What if that’s where God wants to speak to you? In the silence. In the stillness. Join us this Lent as we journey together discovering there is great hope in the wilderness.

COURSE OFFERINGS & MORE INFORMATION

Our new Faith Courses are specifically designed to build you up in your faith and equip you to know and share extraordinary life in Christ. Our goal is not that you simply know more about God, but that you know God in a deeper and more personal way. 

SUNDAYS JAN 14-FEB 25 AT 9:30AM / ROOM 300-301

This course presents a systemic study of the basic doctrine of the Christian Church from a Lutheran perspective. Subjects in this section include: the person and work of Christ, conversion, justification by faith, prayer, Law and Gospel, Sacraments, the Church. You are welcome in this class at any time. You do not need to have participated in Foundations 1 to understand the topics covered in Foundations Part 2.

SUNDAYS JAN 14-FEB 25 AT 9:30AM / FELLOWSHIP HALL
C.S.Lewis once wrote that, “The Christian who did most for the present world were those who thought most of the next.” In this course we will peer into the great mystery of what our eternal life will be like. Topics include: heaven, hell, death, the resurrection of the body, judgment day, the new heaven and new earth and the return of Christ.

SATURDAYS 10AM-12PM / JANUARY 20 - APRIL 13

Have you, a friend, or neighbor experienced the loss of a loved one? Our Father begins a new Grief Share course led by Pastor Kelly Crabbe. This support group will lead a grieving person through a 13-week path to receive valuable guides and tips at providing relief, comfort and peace of mind.
