For OFLC, we have Mission Trips, Huddle Groups, Missional Communities, and Mission Partners that allow us to serve others and expand our mission impact as a church. EL PASO/JUAREZ, & LA PAZ, MEXICO

El Paso, TX and Juarez, Mexico / Nov. 27-Dec. 1, 2024
We’ll prepare and serve Thanksgiving meals for as many as 1,000 hungry souls over three days at Ysleta Lutheran Mission in El Paso, and its affiliated mission churches across the border in the Juarez area. Additional service projects will also be available to volunteers.

HONDURAS INTERGENERATIONAL MISSION TRIP

Tegucigalpa, Honduras / June 13-20, 2025
This is an intergenerational mission trip opportunity. We will be helping to run an eyeglass clinic for the local community, as well as a child-outreach event connected to the clinic. We will be partnering with a US-based ministry called MOST Ministries, who will plan our travel, send an experienced missionary with language skills to assist us, coordinate daily activities, and lead evening devotions.

Huddles are small groups that typically meet weekly for a year and focus on fellowship, discipleship, and leadership development. Huddles are a great environment for going deeper in your understanding and relationship with Jesus Christ.

Missional Communities

Missional Communities typically meet twice monthly in groups of 15-40. Groups are designed to share life together through worship, Bible study, meals together, serving on mission together in the communities, and/or mIssion trips to India, Honduras, and Mexico.
