S.O.O.N. Third Ward Church

Revitalizing the poorest neighborhood in Houston with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. SOON Church desires to bring both spiritual and physical healing to a neighborhood that has experienced great violence and poverty over the years. S.O.O.N is lead by a Lutheran pastor Named Howard Thomas

Lead a Child

Dedicated to sharing the Good News of Jesus' love to children through Christian education in third world countries and provides professional development for leaders and teachers, with an emphasis on effective ways to share the Gospel and teach Biblical truths.

Lutheran High School Parker

Providing excellence in academics, Lutheran High School in Parker has a goal to prepare students to continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus far beyond high school, and to be well equipped to explain and defend their faith.

Youth for Christ

Youth for Christ is an outreach and evangelism ministry that seeks to reach students with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition to outreach programs, Youth for Christ also hosts teen mom nights, teen counseling programs, and a juvenile justice ministry.

 

Honduras Lutheran Church

A handful of other US-based Lutheran congregations are helping to support the work of spreading the Gospel in La Paz and Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Through these gifts, a parsonage and church have been constructed in La Paz, and the church in Tegucigalpa has been given much needed improvements.

Resurrection in the City

This church and school provides for the needs of families with small children that are living in low income circumstances, each in their own way. They provide a quality education, meals, individual tutoring, and pointing students and families to the life-saving gospel of Jesus.

Providence Network

A faith-based, urban transformational housing organization that helps men, women and families heal from addictions, abuse and homelessness to become self-sufficient, productive members of the community.

Bethania Kids in India

Nurturing and equipping children of India to change their world through Jesus' love. Bethania provides food, clothing, shelter, medical and dental care, emotional support, education, and vocational training.

 

Lutheran Family Services

Supports people in their time of need providing a variety of services including unplanned pregnancy support, marriage counseling, mental health counseling, adoption services, church worker wellness, and youth and elderly outreach.

Erin Mackenzie, Missionary

In the Dominican Republic, Erin works with four active congregations assisting pastors and lay workers in their various ministry programs, and working toward planting more churches in the future.

Christian World Outreach

Helping people in developing countries improve their quality of life by meeting the physical, emotional, spiritual and educational needs of many of these communities. By joining with the local people to provide holistic ways to improve lives, CWO reaches out to help make a difference one life at a time!

Love INC

Provides life-skills classes, financial training, senior engagement, a resale store, a homeless day shelter, and a variety of assistance items for families in need in the LIttleton/Centennial area.

 

Clergy Discretionary Mercy Fund

Funds are made available to pastoral staff to provide support to individuals and families with specific needs, at their discretion. The primary use is for those associated with OFLC.

Team Expansion: Correa

Missionary to the Middle East. She is building relationships with her Muslim neighbors, and through service and human care, is using the opportunity to also share and nurture faith in Christ with her Muslim friends. Her name is omitted from any publication for her safety in the region.

Ysleta Mission El Paso TX

Ministering to the poor, including food, medical, housing, and also educational resources for children. Each year adults and kids from OFLC serve over a 1,000 meals in both the US and Mexico.

Lutheran Valley Retreat

A Lutheran camp that provides weekend retreats for Christians of all ages, as well as summer camps and service opportunities that include youth groups from all over the U.S. If you are interested in sending your child to an excellent Lutheran camp, learn more at lvr.org.

 

Alternatives Pregnancy Center

Alternatives Pregnancy Center cares for Denver-area women and men in pregnancy-related crisis and offers them a meaningful alternative to abortion. Following the example of Christian love, they seek to meet their emotional, physical and spiritual needs and enable and encourage them to choose life every day.

FCA Jordan Wright

Jordan serves as West Arapahoe County Representative for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Her ministry includes launching team and multi-sport huddles; and initiating and/or leading coaches' Bible studies; providing training, Bibles, and curriculum to coaches and athletes.

Project 127

There are not enough homes for children in foster care and a lack of resources and support for biological, kinship, foster and adoptive families. Project 1.27 aims to not only reduce the number of children entering foster care by supporting biological families, but also training and equipping foster and adoptive families to care for these children.
