SUNDAYS IN ADVENT
There is a longing inside all of us. A deep desire for a hope that is assured, a peace that perseveres, a joy that runs deep, and a love that lasts. Seven hundred years before the birth of Christ, God spoke through the prophet Isaiah showing us the day when these longings would fully be satisfied. And although the Messiah has already come, yet still we wait for the promises of God to be fully realized.
This Advent we acknowledge the tension between waiting and hoping. We acknowledge the stubborn hope that God revealed through the prophet Isaiah 2700 years ago. Hope, Peace, Joy and Love - in the birth of Jesus a weary world still rejoices.
