May Term Adult Classes

We have a five-week “May Term” for adult education. Join us for one of these short-term opportunities:

Introduction to Lutheran Teachings / Community Room
+ Led by Pastor Scott Abel
Join Pastor Abel as he spends five weeks introducing Christianity from a Lutheran perspective of a God who comes down to us. This class is a great way to get to know Pastor Abel, as well as Jesus, Christianity, and what we as Lutherans believe and confess at Our Father. If you have jumped in to life at Our Father within this last school year, this class is for you.

New Member Orientation
+ On Sunday, May 22
An optional New Member Orientation will be offered on May 22 following this introduction for anybody who is ready for the next step. Email cleman@oflc.net for more information.

Walking Together: Simple Steps for Discipleship / Fellowship Hall
+ Led by DCE Cassie Schermbeck
Cassie will walk you through simple steps in the life of discipleship as one of trusting, seeking, and following Jesus in a way that is truly simple and life-giving. We will explore Scripture and these concepts together around tables and have conversation with one another as part of the course.
